There are 95 divisions and agencies - in the previous Government’s Jabatan Perdana Menteri.
*These are being re-organised under the new government as follows:*
(1) Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA/APMM) to be transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN);
(2) National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma/APBN) to be transferred to the KDN;
(3) Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Affairs Division (BHEPMM) to be merged with the MMEA/APMM if required and transferred to the KDN;
(4) Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) including the Legal Aid Department (JBG) and the Department of Insolvency Malaysia (MdI) to be transferred to the MLJC;
(5) Integrity and Governance Division (Bitu) to be maintained;
(6) Ceremonial and International Conference Secretariat Division (Biupa) to be maintained;
(7) Cabinet, Constitution and Inter-Governmental Relations Division (BKPP) to be maintained;
(8) New Villages in Peninsular Malaysia Division (BKB) to be transferred to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT);
(9) Research Division including the Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO) to be abolished;
(10) Permata Division to be transferred to the Ministry of Education (KPM);
(11) Property and Land Management Division (BPH) to be maintained;
(12) Protection Division (UPS) to be maintained;
(13) Public Complaints Bureau (BPA) to be transferred to the MLJC;
(14) National Civics Bureau (BTN) to be abolished;
(15) Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) to be transferred to the Ministry of Defence (Kementah);
(16) Judicial and Legal Training Institute (Ilkap) to be transferred to the MLJC;
(17) Istana Negara to be maintained;
(18) National Audit Department to be transferred to the Ministry of Finance (MOF);
(19) Department of Islamic Development (Jakim) including the Federal Territories Islamic Affairs Department (Jawi) to be organised into a newly created Islamic Affairs Division (IAD);
(20) Syariah Judiciary Department (JKSM) including the Federal Territories Syariah Court (MSWP) to be transferred to the IAD;
(21) Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) to be transferred to the MLJC;
(22) Public Services Department (PSD/JPA) including the National Institute for Public Administration (Intan) to be maintained;
(23) Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) to be transferred to the KDN;
(24) Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) to be transferred to the KDN;
(25) Department of Wakaf, Zakat and Haji (Jawhar) to be transferred to the IAD;
(26) Advisory Board (LP) to be abolished;
(27) Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (Sabah LPKP) to be transferred to the Ministry of Sabah Affairs;
(28) Sarawak Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (Sarawak LPKP) to be transferred to the Ministry of Sarawak Affairs;
(29) National Security Council (MKN) to be abolished;
(30) Parliament of Malaysia to be made an independent department under the speaker of the Dewan Rakyat;
(31) Chief Government Security Office (KPKK) to be maintained;
(32) Federal Territories Mufti’s Office to be transferred to the IAD;
(33) Office of the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal of the Conference of Rulers, Malaysia to be maintained;
(34) Seranta (Felda) to be abolished;
(35) Sabah Federal Secretary’s Office to be transferred to the Ministry of Sabah Affairs;
(36) Sarawak Federal Secretary’s Office to be transferred to the Ministry of Sarawak Affairs;
(37) Federal Territories Director of Lands and Mines Office (PTGWP) including the Federal Territory of Putrajaya Lands and Mines Office and the Federal Territory of Labuan Lands and Mines Office to be transferred to the Ministry of the Federal Territories;
(38) Secretariat Office of Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be abolished;
(39) Secretariat Office of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to be abolished;
(40) Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to be maintained;
(41) Judicial Appointments Commission (SPK) to be made into an independent commission answerable to Parliament;
(42) Election Commission of Malaysia (EC/SPR) to be made into an independent commission answerable to Parliament;
(43) Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC/SPRM) to be made into an independent commission answerable to Parliament;
(44) Public Services Commission (PSC/SPA) to be maintained;
(45) Education Service Commission (ESC/SPP) to be transferred to the KPM;
(46) Felda Regulatory Unit (UKSF) to be abolished;
(47) Public Private Partnership Unit (Ukas) to be transferred to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MEA);
(48) Hawkers, Petty Traders and Hindu Endowment Development Unit (UPPPKWH) to be transferre
